Hi, I’m Eric, a husband, stepfather, and lifelong sci-fi and music enthusiast who believes healing begins in connection. Like many of my clients, I’ve faced painful experiences that shaped who I am and inspired me to help others find renewal and peace.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in pastoral ministry throughout the East Bay, where I learned the importance of empathy, inclusivity, and honoring each person’s unique worldview. Whether or not spirituality is part of your story, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, authentic, and deeply human.
I’m passionate about supporting clients of all identities, including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, and strive to bring humor, compassion, and real-world understanding into the therapy room. My work integrates Attachment Theory, IFS, Somatic Therapy, and Brainspotting to help you move from surviving to thriving.

In my therapy practice, I strongly believe that healing is facilitated through meaningful relationships with others. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients through all the seasons of life, especially the challenging ones. While therapy can often involve tough and painful experiences, I also try to make space for humor and celebration. I strive to collaborate with my clients, bringing empathy, intuition, and engagement to our sessions. My goal is not only to alleviate distressing symptoms, but also to assist you in finding renewal, revitalization, and a more fulfilling way of living your life!
Like many of the people I work with, I have experienced difficult and painful events, and trauma, and yes, made some choices that affected me later in my life and that I came to regret. I've knowingly and unknowingly sabotaged relationships and missed out on opportunities in the past. When I felt pressured or scared, I used to act impulsively and could turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms. There was a time when I felt trapped in a deep, dark hole, convinced I would never escape its grasp. Thankfully, however, my journey of healing from understanding my own trauma and nervous system, these painful experiences have not only contributed to my own personal growth but also inspired me to become a therapist and walk alongside others to find their own paths to healing.
I approach my work with others from a Bio-psycho-spiritual view believing that we are all a combination of our Biological and Physical form, as well aour Social and Spiritual concepts and upbringing. I respect and honor each client's unique worldview and beliefs, regardless of what they may be. I feel comfortable working with clients who choose to bringing these elements into session as much or as little as the client wants and feels comfortable.
I've been a Bay Area resident for most of my life, and I absolutely love the diversity, experiences, and opportunities that the San Francisco Bay Area and California offers. When it comes to my approach, I embrace inclusivity. I am affirming towards all individuals, including transgender and non-binary individuals, and am actively anti-racist. As a white male, I am aware of the privilege I hold, and I'm committed to constantly learning and growing in my awareness and how I engage with marginalized groups, such as BIPOC and the LGBTQ+ community.
If you're someone who dares to dream of conquering your own obstacles and desire clarity, confidence, and peace of mind, then you're my kind of person so… Let’s talk!

Some Psych and tech speak for those that are curious…
I come from a foundation of Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory. I draw from Family, and Internal Family Systems Theory as well as Somatic conceptualization where and when appropriate while working with clients.
Treatment approaches, other than talk therapy, include Brainspotting (BSP), Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Somatic Therapy approaches to name a few.
In addition to being certified in Trauma Therapy and Complex Trauma Therapy I hold advanced training in Brainspotting (BSP) and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) .

After more than a decade as a software engineer, I felt called to shift into a career focused on understanding people rather than code. My own transformative experience in therapy showed me the power of self-reflection, healing, and growth, and now I help others cultivate that same insight and confidence in their own lives.
I specialize in couples therapy, blending Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help partners navigate conflict, strengthen emotional bonds, and rediscover connection. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and relational challenges, drawing from the same belief that our relationships, with ourselves and others, shape how we move through the world.
My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where growth feels possible and clients can show up more fully as their authentic selves.

After spending over a decade as a software engineer, I felt a calling to pivot towards a career in mental health. My own experiences with therapy have deeply impacted my life, showing me the transformative power of understanding, self-reflection, and growth. My passion now lies in aiding others to understand themselves and their relationships better, fostering personal growth and confidence, and establishing healthy boundaries. I believe therapy can be a powerful tool in helping you navigate the complexities of life and show up more as your own authentic self.
At the forefront of my practice is a dedication to couples therapy, where I employ a blend of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These evidence-based approaches guide my work, helping couples navigate through challenging times with an emphasis on emotional bonding, understanding attachment styles, and exploring internal dynamics within their relationships.
My approach with couples is rooted in the belief that deep, empathetic connections and a thorough understanding of each other’s emotional landscapes are key to overcoming relationship difficulties. I help couples create stronger emotional attachments and address relational distress.
While specializing in couples therapy, I also continue to support individuals facing anxiety, depression, professional stress, and complex relationship dynamics. This facet of my practice is enriched by my focus on couples, as individual challenges are often intertwined with relationship health.
My aim, whether working with individuals or couples, is to foster a safe, nurturing environment. Here, personal growth and relational healing are the goals, empowering my clients to build more fulfilling and harmonious lives.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy road cycling, singing, and raising Japanese quail.
