Associate Therapist Opportunity

Company Description:

Eric Winton Marriage & Family Therapy Inc., DBA Eric Winton Counseling, is a telehealth-only, out-of-network Private Practice providing therapy to residents throughout the state of California

Role Description:

This is a part-time to full-time remote role for an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist.

The prime applicant should be an Associate who is in good standing with the BBS, already has their Associate Number, and has a desire to learn about all aspects involved in developing and maintaining a thriving Private Practice with a possible goal of having their own private practice post-licensure. The Associate Therapist will be responsible for conducting individual, couple, and/or family therapy sessions.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate client records through the practice's EHR system (Simple Practice)

• Developing treatment plans

• Actively advertising and networking to build their client base

• Regular attendance at weekly supervision sessions

• Attendance at occasional training opportunities

 The role requires regular communication with supervisor and clients to monitor progress and provide support, as well as participating in continuing education and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Skills in conducting individual, couple, and/or family therapy

• Experience in developing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions

• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and remotely

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field

• Registered Associate in the state of California

• Experience in teletherapy is a plus

 Compensation & Hours:

Monthly Pay Rate: You will be compensated at a rate of 30-50% of the fees collected for direct clients’ therapy sessions, as follows:

1. Up to $1000 total fees: Employee earns 30%

2. $1000 up to $2000: Employee earns 40%

3. $2000 up to $3000 and above: Employee earns 50%

Additional Stipends of $50 a month towards technology (i.e., maintenance and upgrades) and $50 a month towards administrative hours (i.e., supervision time and clinical notes) per every 5 clients will be included above the associate’s monthly pay.

Associates’ chargeable client session rate TBD collaboratively with supervisor and will be based on experience, education, and areas of focus and/or specialization (Minimum of $110 per)

Supervision:

You will receive 1 unit of supervision per week, with an additional unit If you go over 10 client hours.

Schedule:

You are welcome to set your own hours. Your availability will need to be discussed and approved in advance to ensure smooth operations for both you and the practice.

Client Load:

The expected caseload is at least 5 clients per week, which can be adjusted based on demand and your availability.
